I dreamt that I met William Shatner, and earlier in the dream, his pal, Warren Buffet. Are they related in real life? They were in this dream. Really they are somewhat related by age. Odd huh? I'm a big fan of the old Star Trek "The Original Series. In the dream, I met William Shatner, the "Priceline negotiator" Shatner.Warren Buffet was listed at one time has being one of the wealthiest men in the U.S, Investor Extraordinaire.
If I remember right, I met his pal, "Warren Buffet". I sort of had lunch with Buffet, but I wasn't asking anything ... important. Just sort of taking about my personal stuff. When my rendezvous was over. I felt stupid, I started think of all the question I could have asked, instead I was focused on myself, not really thinking about stuff.
But the best was yet to come,I was with Shatner in some kind of living room. it was cluttered, as if Shatner (and Buffet) were a bunch of "Stoners". Shatner was taking these amount of dope like marijuana, and some "mind altering" substance, which they were putting in the dinner.
They asked me if I wanted some, I offered to try alittle piece of dinner, a piece of sausage in a gumbo-like soup ( Like what I ate for dinner last night), I washed the piece off with water in a sink ( Mind-altering drugs are potent) and ate some of the soup....
I was alittle afraid, I had never tried anything like a serious "Mind-Altering " drugs. I've ingested marijuana before, but they had some really powerful mind altering ones.
Buffet's wife was there, but said she wasn't eating...
Buffet and Shatner had some "mapping" scheme going on I guess you could say Real Estate, it was some kind of "metaphysical" real estate.
I guess the mind altering drug starting taking effect. I was starting to see geometric circles when I closed my eyes.
(This was just a dream though). it was a neat feeling, I started feeling alittle more mentally acute, so I asked for a little more of Shatners gumbo...which they were happy to oblige me.
My sister was coming to pick me up to take me home., she arrived , but before I tried to get a picture of Shatner that I could take home of our rendezvous ( I was going to blog it).
I was missing a battery for my camera, has Shatner was trying to pose for the picture...the camera was acting oddly, flashing previous pictures that were already in the camera's memory...but it wouldn't take a new photo. My sister arrived to take me home.
I guess in the dream I would have hope to met Captain James T. Kirk of Star Trek. That's not quite possible. It would be great what actor William Shatner's interpretation of how James T. Kirk would look at U.S and our problems, and what would he do if he had the "Enterprise " at his disposal .
"Beam me up Scotty, there's no sign of intelligent life here..."
Shatner resembles little of the character he played in the series, the actor might not even care much for the actual franchise ( Star Trek) . Could you blame him, who wants to get caught up in "Hollywood' stuff. Does Star Trek, take place in the 25 century century with fantastic technology, in this so-called enlightened society..but how do you get there?
Star trek could be more a state of mind. If People acted like they were living in the 25th century...we'd be there wouldn't we?
