Saving Private Ryan; Journey to the The Antique Roadshow Pt 1.

I had this wonderful sort of dream this morning (3-25). Vivid

I met this old man, a veteran of some great war..like WWII, a white man I couldn't have known, who had some kind of World War II memento. The object , was like some kind of Ammo shell, somehow we derived that the object was worth some money so we went about going to a place where the old guy could redeem this War memento.

Only he couldn't get there himself, he was too old to drive, and losing his wits. I offered to take there, I seemed to know the way in the dream, it was ... over and round the railroad tracks, up and under a underground tunnel is some abandoned part of town. ( Like some war torn area in a computer game "Call of Duty".)

Well eventually we go to this place...it was all the way in Germany. It was some kind of War museum, , run by the Germans.... the Place is nice and big with black and white checkered floors of marble, stone everywhere. There's a guy sitting at a front desk. I bring out the object ..the old man is somewhere in tow..Maybe the old guy was German? It was a place where we could redeem the World War II memento.

The war memento looks like a sort of cannonball, with places to put my fingers in to carry it (Like a bowling ball). It was also like a rather large grenade or ammo shell. I had my fingers on the trigger, when I pulled them out I had released the trigger. I thought the bomb like device was going to explode.., the man at the desk looked surprised for the moment, but then said that the bomb wasn't going to go off , that it was somehow safe. Not that it didn't have any charge, but that it wasn't going to detonate.

But then this voice came out of the device, the voice was a male voice, speaking ..German? I don't know the German language (it sounded beautiful), but I guess it was something like it, maybe I heard something like German playing these war games. I guess the voice was there ..the war memento had a bit of modern technology. It was a way of greeting the enemy. Like during WW2 and many wars, soldiers would write greetings on bombs they were going to send (explode) on the enemy, this device have a electronic voice greeting, in German.

Note: I was watchng "Antique Roadshow" on PBS the night before this dream.
