Ode to Captain Dunsel, and friends

It just occurred to me the connection in my dream between Warren Buffet (economics) and William Shatner ( Star Trek). In a negative way its a comment on the National debt. I used to always say to myself, that .." When the National Debt exceeds a "light year" then maybe our dreams ,( my dreams ) might be unreachable in this society. A "Light year" is the distance Light travels in one year. Light travels about 186,000 miles per second, which means that in a "Year", light travels about 6 Trillion miles. If we could travel this fast, ,we'd be in hog heaven sort of speak.

In the star trek world "Warp speed" is many times faster than the speed of light. In our world I think it is said that no object can travel faster than the speed of light, without becoming energy.

But the National Deficit in the U.S is said to exceed 17.5 trillion dollars, so if you dropped a dollar every second you travel at the speed of light, you could almost get to Alpha Centuri, a star which is less that 4 light year away from us.

I always think about this when I sometimes think of economics and traveling to the stars , I wonder if we'll ever be able to travel to the stars.

Hell maybe I'm Captain Dunsel, the one they were talking about, on Star Trek episode, "The Ultimate Computer". Kirk walked away dejected, when he learned he was bested by a computer.

I think I resolved some of my Gun issues, and dreams. Figuring if I can change the way I deal with anger and violence in myself, and how to avoid guns and violence and associated with them. I signed up for a martial art class. I don't know if I will be able to continue the classes, but its been a blast. Sometimes the biggest enemy people faces is themselves and in the martial arts you can face the enemy in a safe environment, and the Martial arts might be alittle cheaper than having to relie on guns for safety. money out of that gun dealers hand and back in my pocket.

"My regards to Captain Dunsel"
