Auld Lang Syne
Dreamt I was trying to hang out with a group of people, one would wake with me every morning, but I couldn't get it on with them. It was mostly a guy. He went to a big party on a tropical island. It was struck by this wall of water, that swept all the partyers out to Sea.
This dream was the last part before I woke up. It been lightly raining outside of sorts.

They just wanted to go for a a swim, not drift out into the sea!
Yeah thats right, .They just wanted to party by the sea, a little bonfire by the beach.A huge wave crested and swepted them out to sea. The feeling was sort of like in that movie "the posidon Adventure" just before the wave comes.
I haven'tmuch considered this dream is a comment about me the dreamer. I forget about this aspect of dreaming.SO much of my dreams are seem precognitive, or atleast the stuff I posted on blogs...I never considered this.
What part of me who was partying and in a festive mood wearing a party hat,is now threatened with being by huge titanic forces?
Don Cornelius died today,apparently killed himself with a gun. He was host for that show,"Soul Train" which I used to watch Saturday afternoons. Talk about a guy with a party hat, but cornelius seemed like a cool dude, and Soul Train was a classy show....better than "American Bandstand" I'd think.
Soul train was a showcase for african-americans in R&B music industry. The Black version of "Dick Clark's" American Bandstand.
Sad that he ended his life this way. I guess for Cornelius the party is over.
Maybe my first comment wasn't fitting since they never actually went for a swim at any point.
Maybe this dream symbolizes people coming and going and finally leaving forever. I like bodies of water as symbols of how we drift through life.

Maybe ,but I remember you had some dreams were people were coming and going finally leaving forever...( like Ghost!)..you think its a symbol of how you drift through life?
